The conference will take place in Sochi, Russia – the home of 2014 Winter Olympics and Paralympics. The nearest international airport is Adler/Sochi (IATA: AER). Other airports in the area are Krasnodar (IATA: KRR, 190 km) and Gelendzhik (IATA: GDZ, 200 km).

If you decide to travel by train, you can search for available tickets to Sochi Central Station at the website of Russian Railways. From Sochi Central Station you can order a pickup service from your hotel or take a taxi. Walking from the Central Station to Marins Park Hotel along Navaginskaya ulitsa and Kurortnyi prospect takes approximately 30 minutes.

Season-specific ferry services to Sochi are available from some Black Sea ports, such as Trabzon, Istanbul, Batumi, Poti, Yalta, Odessa, and Novorossiysk. Check regional tour companies for details. Ferries arrive to Sochi port, which is in 15-minute walking distance to Marins Park Hotel, though walking uphill with baggage may be exhausting.

If you arrive by car, follow directions to Sochi city center via E97 and A147 routes (GPS: 43.576071 N, 39.725724 E).

Sochi features both seaside resort in warm season and alpine resort in cold season. September and October are considered the "Velvet Season", which features warm sea water and warm air temperature with moderate humidity.

The conference plenary and parallel sessions will take place at Marins Park Hotel in the center of Sochi.

The guests of the conference are supposed to take care of their accommodation themselves. The most comfortable option for attending the conference will probably be to book a room at Marins Park Hotel. There are also other hotel options for different budget in the vicinity. For example, Hyatt Regency, Pullman Sochi Centre, Primorskaya, Magnolia, DENART and Zhemchuzhina are within a 10-minute walking distance from Marins Park Hotel. Please contact hotel receptionists for airport pickup service. Alternatively, you can order the transfer here or with web sites of other taxi companies.
